President Cup 2026 – Where Champions Rise!
Gear up for one of the most anticipated events in the Silat calendar, President Cup 2026! Happening over three electrifying days from 16 to 18 January 2026, this year’s competition will take place at Choa Chu Kang ActiveSG Sports Centre, proudly organised by the Singapore Silat Federation (PERSISI).
Whether you're stepping onto the mat for the first time or cheering on your team from the sidelines, President Cup 2026 is your moment to shine. With categories across Singa, Macan and Pre Teen divisions, athletes will battle through knockout rounds, artistic showcases and high-intensity matches, all leading toward the coveted overall team titles.

1. Who can participate?
Only affiliates (Ordinary or Associate Members) of Singapore Silat Federation can participate.
2. What are the age categories?
Singa: 6 to 7 years old
Macan: 8 to 9 years old
Pre Teen: 10 to 11 years old
3. What events are available?
Match (Tanding)
Tunggal (Single Performance)
Ganda (Paired Performance)
Regu (Team Performance)
4. When is the weigh-in?
Weigh-in takes place on the morning of your competition day.
Participants must bring ID and wear the Silat uniform.
Only one weigh-in attempt is allowed. No weight tolerance will be given.
5. What is the match format?
Singa and Macan: 2 rounds of 1 minute 30 seconds each
Pre Teen: 3 rounds of 1 minute 30 seconds
Winners progress through a knockout system. Semi-finalists who lose will both receive bronze medals.
6. What attire and equipment are needed?
Only PERSISI or PERSILAT-approved body protectors are allowed.
Athletes must bring their own groin guards.
Coloured uniforms are allowed for artistic events, with Tanjak and Samping.
Hijab must be black and tucked into the uniform.
Sport goggles with elastic straps are allowed. Regular glasses are not allowed.
7. Is there a quota for the number of officials that a team may send in?
Yes. To ensure fairness and proportionality between the number of coaches and participants, there is a quota in place. The quota is as follows:
1 to 10 Participants: 2 TM, 4 Coach
11 to 20 Participants: 4 TM, 6 Coach
21 to 40 Participants: 6 TM, 10 Coach
41 to 60 Participants : 8 TM & 12 Coach
60 to 100 Participants : 10 TM & 14 Coach
Above 100 participation : 14 TM & 16 Coach
8. Will there be any weigh-in for macan and singa categories?
Yes.
9. My athlete forgot to bring along his/her physical EZ-link card for ID verification. Can a picture of the card be used?
Yes.
10. Do Macan/Singa athletes have to verify their identity?
Yes. They are to produce their passport or birth certificate.
11. Can the different clubs bring or set up their own food tables?
No refreshment table(s) will be provided for clubs.
12. How many tickets can clubs purchase?
Due to space constraints in the hall, each affiliate will be allocated up to15 tickets. This measure ensures we can manage the number of spectators effectively and provide a comfortable experience for all attendees.
Ticket Price: $30
Validity: Covers all 3 days of the event (no single-day tickets will be sold)
Entry Requirement: Each ticket holder will receive a lanyard valid for all 3 days.
Please note that no entry will be permitted without the lanyard.
